This month, PCS swimmers are raising awareness for mental illness in honour of Jesse Short-Gershman with Buddy Check for Jesse. It is so important to destigmatize mental illness and to help people understand what they can do to either receive support or give support when they or someone they know is struggling. If we look out for each other and do a "Buddy Check" with our friends, teammates, family members and even with ourselves, we can make a difference!
