PCS Wins at Prospects West Tri Meet

Congratulations to Lauren McMillan who won the 200BR and 50BR at the Prospects West Tri Meet in Alberta over the weekend. She was also the Breaststroker on the winning 4x50 MR team.

PCS's Team Rubber Ducky Does Well In Port Alberni

A small group of coaches, swimmers and parents headed to Port Alberni last Sunday to complete in the Tsunami's annual Rubber Ducky swim meet. PCS did well bringing home a total of 22 rubber duckies.

PCS Swimmers Make BC Western Canada Games Team

Congratulations to PCS swimmers Stefanie Schmidt and Kea Koerner on their selection to the BC Western Canada Games Team. The team will compete in Kamloops Aug 7-14.

Swimmers were selected based on their performance at the recent World Trials. Well done!

National Open Water Teamer David Creel Retires

VICTORIA - National Open Water Teamer David Creel was honored in front of his peers last night during the 2011 World Championships Trials in Victoria, BC.

David Creel of Dalhousie NB competed around the globe in Open Water event for over 10 years.

Weinberger Wins 5km, Parkes Takes Bronze

VICTORIA – Pan Pacific Championships bronze medallist in the 10km open water event, Richard Weinberger and sixteen year old Sherry Liu of New Westminster, B.C won the 5km pool championships today at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool in Victoria, BC.

PCS Swimmer Named to 2011 BC Prospects West Team

PCS swimmer Lauren McMillan is one of eight 14-year-old girls from across the province to have been selected to represent the province at this year’s Prospects West training camp and Tri-meet. Lauren will be one of thirty-two 13 and 14 year-old Team BC swimmers joining with teams from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. PCS swimmer Ryan Howe was also selected as a 14yr old for the team, but has turned the trip down to focus on his studies after a busy and successful short course season.
