The timed Sunday finals in Prince George finished well for our atheltes partcipating at 2022 BC Summer games. Our day started off with the 4x50m freestyle relay - the girl's team (E. Saska, K. Owens, A. Neal, & T. Stehpen) placed 3rd but just over a second. The Zone 6 boy's team (A. Camaraire, Z. Millns, R. Lee, & C. Gonzales) placed 4th with the top 4 teams within 1.5. Following the relays came 200m IM where Saska placed 9th overall in the timed finals. Right behind her was Avery Neal, placing 10th and taking off 1.3 seconds. Maelle Sanborn also took off an impressive 2.3 seconds from her best 200m IM time. On the boy's side, Camaraire managed to take off 1.6 seconds from his best and place 6th, shortly followed by Sawyer who placed 11th dropping the same amount of time. Noah Hicks placed 16th with an almost 3 second best time, followed by Makaio in 17th. Kevin Yin shaved off a significant 11 seconds from his personal best in the medley race as well. To finish off the competition the boy's (R. Lee, M. MckNight, N. Hicks, & A. Camaraire) 4x50m medley relay placed 2nd to claim the last medal for our PCS swimmers. Way to go on a fantastic meet.
