Friday Regional Highlights

Pacific Coast Swimming started off with a bang in Duncan at the 2022 Vancouver Island Regionals! Friday morning started off with distance events, and had 13 year old Alex Camaraire go a personal best and place 3rd overall for the 13-14 category. In the 1500m freestyle, 14 year old Lucy Hallett came 1st her 1500m freestyle with a substantial personal best and Jessica Hier (13) came 2nd both in the 13-14 girl's category. On the boy's side, twelve year old Sebastian Damian placed 2nd in 1500m freestlye, and in the 15& over category Simon de Rosnay came 3rd. 

In the evening, we started off with a 2nd place in the 14&under girl's 4x50m freestyle relay. Our boy's 4x50m freestyle A-team placed 1st, and our B-team placed 3rd. In the 15&over category, our A-team placed 3rd.
