First Swim Meet in 17 months

We've started our first swim meet in 17 months! Uvic-Pacific Coast Swimming started Nanaimo Fall Invitational with 47 excited 12&unders swimmers. For many swimmers this was their first swim meet and was filled with lots of cheering, team culture, and support. Some highlights include: Karen Pan came 3rd in 100m backstroke with a time of 1:19.03 and 3rd in 200IM in 2:55.10. Noah Zhang (10) swept first place in all of his events today including: 200IM (3:12.11), 100m backstroke (1:28.57), 200m freestyle (2:50.04) and 100m breastroke (1:141.02). Eden Blaind qualified for her first VIR time standard in 50m frrestyle (40.77), and additionally placed 3rd in 50m butterfly! Mila Chernekoff (11) came in 3rd 50m freestyle in the 11-12 category with a time of 32.13.

Noah Hicks (12) 3rd in 100m backstroke (1:12.38), 1st in 100m breastroke (1:27.48), 3rd in 200m IM (2:41.11)

Karen Pan (12) 3rd in 100m backstroke (1:19.03), 2nd in 100m breastroke (1:35.02), 3rd in 200IM (2:55.10)
