Day One at Divisionals

Our first day at 2022 Fraser & Island Summer Divisionals proved sucessful for our 22 athletes competing this weekend! Friday prelims started off with 20 personal bests and 15 qualified for finals. Nolan Greenwood made his provincial cut in the 200m IM during plrelims with a personal best of 2:44.49. We started off finals with Nolan & Sebastian Damian in 100m backstroke. Sebastian placed 7th with a personal best of 1:19.48, and Greenwood placed 8th. On the 13-14 category, Noah Hicks placed 4th overall, shaving just over a second off his personal best for a time of 1:06.35.

Our Second Day at Divisionals

PCS swimmers were on fire tonight at day two of Divisional Finals! We started off the evening with 200m freestyle where Nora Dietsch dropped 3 additional seconds from her 10 second best time prelims swim and placed first. Isabella Meyer placed 6th in her 200m freestyle with a 3-second personal best. On the boy's side, Sebastian Damian placed 5th with a 4 second best time. In the 13-14 category, Rubin Lee placed 8th overall.

Divisionals Day 1 Highlights

Pacific Coast Swimming started off the first day of 2022 Fraser & Island winter divisionals with team spirit, support, unity, that gave them a strong and exicitng start to the meet. 

We started off the day with 200m IM and had Nora Deitsch (2nd), Iris Wu (4th) and Sofia Zibell (6th) place in the top 8 at finals. On the men's side, Nolan Greenwood placed 5th, followed by Constantine Tchaouchev in 7th, and Sebastian Damian in 8th. In the 13-14 men's category, Rubin Lee placed 7th overall.
