2021-2022

Our 12&unders finished strong today with a bunch of qualifying regional standards as well as best times! Highlights include: Noah Hicks won his 100m butterfly by a couple bodylengths, Ethan Zhang had a best time & first place in 50m breastroke and Averie Hill (9) & Sophie Billinghurst (10) qualified for their first regional time standard in 50m breastroke (at their first swim meet ever!). We finished off the session with 22 swimmers in 400m freestyle and swept the 10&under top 3.

We've started our first swim meet in 17 months! Uvic-Pacific Coast Swimming started Nanaimo Fall Invitational with 47 excited 12&unders swimmers. For many swimmers this was their first swim meet and was filled with lots of cheering, team culture, and support.

A big THANK YOU to our affiliated Varsity Vikes swim team! Our annual Swim with the Vikes Event took place this past weekend. The kids had a blast learning swimming technique, doing some racing, and building team culture with the Vikes swimmers. Thanks to all the swimmers that came out to the event. #gobolts!
