Langley Day 2

Our 2nd day of Langley was successful in many ways.

Our first swimmer Asia Trudel won her 4th event 400 IM with a time of 6:08.61 dropping over 10 sec from the morning swim followed by Nathan Chow placing 6th with a time of 6:44.07 dropping over 11sec.

Our next event of the night was 200 FR Asia won the 11&U and Maia Denis (10) placed 5th. Taiki Hiraoka swam to a 7th place finish in 12&U category.

Langley First Day Successes

We had a pretty good first day in Langley.. coming over on the first ferry and swimming “Shoes Off”: Joining into the meet without in-water warm-ups to add a little challenge.

Our first event up was 100 BK, Asia Trudel took on the competition and was the fastest qualifier going into finals. A good accomplishment, taking her own responsibility for her swimming as the coaches still had not arrived yet.

Swim BC Age Group Selection

Swim BC has announced the selection of the fall Age Groups team camps. Below find the list of swimmers selected. Camp will take place Nov 20-21 in Victoria.

Seven PCS Swimmers selected to Prospects Team

Swim BC announced the 2015 fall selection list for the upcoming November Prospects camp. Seven of the forty-eight member team are from Pacific Coast Swimming. The following are on the list: Jessica Luo, Sophie Lorette, Hanna Lorette, Sophie Tarrant, Allison Ballantyne, Artem Kuklev, Kelsey Andrusak. Selection of the swimmers is based on their long course performances.

Crisp, Tyler, Gowans Selected to SBC Junior Team

Lauren Crisp, Lucas Tyler and Molly Gowans have been selected to Swim BC's Junior Team Camps. They will travel to Vancouver this weekend with coach Rod Barratt to participate in the first camp this weekend.

PCS wins SwimBC Club of the Year Award!

At the annual Swim BC Awards Night in Whistler this past weekend, PCS was announced as the BC Club of the Year for 2015.  This is the second time PCS has won the award, having won it originally in 2007.

All D-Group programs start Saturday, September 19th at UVic's McKinnon Pool, 9:30-11:00am.

2015-2016 Registration BBQ at Beaver Lake

The PCS Parents Association is excited to welcome everyone to the new swim season starting in September. Our annual registration BBQ is scheduled for Friday, September 11 from 5:00pm to dusk at Beaver Lake Park (picnic area near Parking Lot 2). It's a great opportunity to meet other PCS families and enjoy some delicious food.
