Vikes Giving Day

Our VIKES varisty team is participating in the 1st annual Vikes Giving Day taking place on February 1st, 2023. Our varisty coaches and swimmers strive for high performance competition and training. Supporting the VIKES team allows them to travel to National and International Competitions, paving their path to excellence.

Support Vikes swimmers pursuing a high-performance pathway. Help pave the way for varsity student-athletes aspiring to compete internationally to attend World Championship Trials, Olympic Trials, and other elite major swim events.

Men's & Women's Swimming

Your donation to the Vikes swim team allows student-athletes pursuing a high-performance pathway to gain experience swimming against top tier competition. Exposure to elite calibre competition will advance the level of talent in our program, improve recruitment, and ultimately the success of Vikes swimming.

How will funds be used?

The $5,000 will be used to cover costs associated with travelling to International and National events including the World Championship Trials and Olympic Trials.

Why should donors support this fund?

The swim program strives for excellence inside and outside of the pool. For many years, swimmers pursuing a high-performance pathway received significant support and funding from Swim Canada, Swim BC and other governing bodies. Today, many athletes competing at the highest levels must pay their own way-limiting opportunities to only those can afford it. By contributing to our goal, donors are supporting the student-athletes on their path to excellence.
