Update From Day 2 of AAA's

Here is the news from Day 2 in Kamloops....

Lauren McMillan was 4th in the 200 Fly in 2:36.44 with a good swim for her. Rachel Newman was 3rd in 2:22.41 for her first Long Course National time for 200 Fly.

In the 50 Free, Anna Letkeman made her first AAA final when there was a scratch and went better than the morning swim coming in 8th with a 32.55. Annie MacIntosh was 6th in 30.22 in the 13 yr olds 50 free. Katelyn Hayward added to her collection of 4th`s in the 50 free in a time of 28.90.

The last individual event was the 200 I.M. Lauren McMillan was 3rd in 2:32.98 and made her Age group national time LC. Rosie Moulton won the 200 I.M. for the 14yr old girls, in 2:28.02 showing her strength across all strokes and closing in on her Senior National cut. Salin Bol was 5th with a personal best 2:32.56, making her first age group national cut for I.M. Hanna Carter came in 2nd in a 200 I.M.swim off in 2:34.41. Sophia Borchers was 3rd with her first non-breaststroke provincial medal, in a time of 2:30.08 achieving her Age group national time L.C. Savannah Moneo was 8th in 2:32.52 for the 16 & over girls event. Ryan Howe came in with a 3rd place swim in 2:23.03. Aidan Thirkell was 4th in 2:23.17 for the 15 yr old boys.

The 400 Medley relay was the last event of the night and had our 13/14 girls showing their strength as a team finishing with a 5 second lead in a time of 4:38.77. Finishing first was Salin Bol, Rosie Moulton, Lauren McMillan, and Emily Ding setting a new club record! 15 & Over girls came in 2nd in a time of 4:32.45. Allison Wood, Sophia Borchers, Rachel Newman, and Katelyn Hayward.
