PCS women lead the way by nearly 100 points to Edmonton's Keyano Swim Club at the end of finals Day 2, while the team overall sits in 5th place.
The first event of the night started off with Jessica Luo taking a silver medal right on her best time (58.8), followed shortly by Molly Gowans in lane 2 also taking a silver as well as breaking the club (Kea Koerner, 2011) and VIR record (Nikki Dryden, 1992) in a time of 57.31.
Next was the 400 IM, which saw Hana Edwards race to a solid 5:19.98, earning her a bronze medal. Also in the event was Eden Kormendy (4th 5:12.49) and Erin Lawrance (8th, 5:08).
Last individual event of the night was the 50 backstroke where Hana Edwards narrowly missed the podium again, finishing 4th with a time of 32.45. Lauren Crisp finished just off of her best time in 6th place, going 30.86.
Earlier today, two of PCS's relays reached podium spots. The 12&U girls of Sophie Lorette, Hana Edwards, Laura Rincon, and Kali Lancaster won a gold medal in the 4x200 Freestyle relay. 15 and over girls team (LawRance, Crisp, Ballantyne, Gowans) broke the VIR record in 8:35.33. On the boys side, the 13&U team of Artem Kuklev, Michael Schmidt, Brendan Fitzpatrick, and Anthony Gutierrez raced hard to earn a Birthday Bronze for Anthony.
