Annual Swim BC Awards

Pacific Coast Swimming swimmers and coaches garnered several Provincial awards for the 2008-2009 swim season during the Swim BC Annual Meeting at Whistler this past weekend.

Stephanie Dixon won Para (formerly SWAD) Swimmer of the Year and David Creel took Open Water Swimmer of the Year. Head coach Ron Jacks was named ParaCoach & Open Water Coach of the Year and was one of several coaches recognised for coaching athletes to World or National records – Stephanie Dixon's S9 World record in 50 Backstroke and Nicholas Sinclair’s National Age Group record in 200 Backstroke.
