2013 Thetis Lake Swim for MS Results

A small group of 8 PCS swimmers attended the 21st Annual H2O-MS Swim at Thetis Lake.  This was also the inaugural year of the Provincial Masters Open Water Swim.

The weather was sunny and beautiful, and although the water was a little murky, swimmers were reporting that it was fairly warm.

There were 6 events taking place over the course of the morning and we had swimmers in almost every event.  Here were the events:
H2O-MS Events: 0.8K (wetsuits allowed), 1.5K (wetsuits allowed), 3K (wetsuits allowed), 5K (no wetsuits)
Provincial Masters Open Water Events: 1.5K (no wetsuits), 3K (no wetsuits)

The posted results were a little convoluted, but here is my best shot at the results.

In the H2O-MS 0.8K event:
Erin Jennings was 2nd overall and 2nd in the Girls 12&U age group.
Chloe Hoechsmann was 14th overall and 3rd in the Girls 13-14 age group
 
In the H2O-MS 3K event:
Kennedy Aragon-Scriven was 5th in her age group and 26th overall in the race

In the Provincial Masters 1.5K Event:
Sophie Tarrant was 2nd overall and 1st in Girls 13-14 age group
Chloe Freeman was 8th overall and 2nd in the Girls 13-14 age group.
Achintya Chaudhari was 5th overall and 1st in the Boys 15-17 group

In the Provincial Masters 3.0K Event:
Anna Letkeman was 1st in her age group and 4th overall
Riley Tesch was 2nd in her age group and 6th overall for the race
