Western Canadian Championship Successes

15 of our PCS Swimmers headed to Winnipeg this past weekend to race at the 2024 Speedo Western Championships. PCS scored 9th overall out of 65 teams, making us the top team from Vancouver Island. Our women's team scored the highest points score since 2016. Alex Camaraire placed 2nd in both the 100m freestyle, and the 50m freestyle. In the 50m freestyle, Alex set a new club record in the 50m freestyle with a time of 24.42. Congratulations to coach Alexx and swimmer Roy Pan and who passed his Level 3 Para Evaluation at Westerns. Roy placed 1st in his 50m butterfly this weekend, as well. Swimmer Sophie Wood placed 3rd in the 100m backstroke, 100 freestyle, 400m freestyle, 50m freestyle and the 200m IM. Sophie also placed 2nd in the 100m butterfly this weekend. All 15 of our swimmers scored points this weekend over their individual and relay swims. Go Bolts!
